Bye bye Reza? (he didn't Ku-wait around long...)

Don't have too much of a problem with that if it means he delivers, sadly he did not really deliver before for the club or himslef.Atletico Addick said:

A month and a half after signing a 2 and a half year contract for us. You've got to be mad to want this sort of person near our playing squad. He's in it for him and him only. It's a bold no from me.0 -
Does he look happy to you?ForeverAddickted said:

I don't like reza tbh and think he had enough opportunities to prove his worth last season and he didn't. Hopefully he's being brought back to be sold on a permanent2
-
But based on last season everyone deserved to be sold, I think its harsh on Reza to rule him out before he has had a chance to play under Bob and on a decent pitchGreenie Junior said:I don't like reza tbh and think he had enough opportunities to prove his worth last season and he didn't. Link? Nah thought not!Atletico Addick said:
From someone within the club (very high up), he wanted to leave us soon upon joining us.ForeverAddickted said:
How do you know that for both players...Atletico Addick said:
There's a huge difference here.. your comment is irrelevant..ForeverAddickted said:
Have you been on the Yann Kermorgant threadAtletico Addick said:The dribbling our fans and club did over him scoring in the WC was pathetic.

Kermorgant drew blood sweat and tears for Charlton, that's why he is loved.
Reza would avoid a sweat if he could for us, he certainly didn't care for us.
Could say the same with any industry you could go into a Bank and the Mortgage Advisor will act like your best friend as he tries to get your Business... at the end of the day if he realises that you cant make the criteria that applies for their mortgages they suddenly wont give two hoots for you0 -
To me he looked like he'd bet a year's salary on Wednesday winning the cup.O-Randy-Hunt said:

If he comes in January, he will be missing for most of it for the Asia cup1
-
One thing that could be interesting from the sacking of Bob Peeters...
Could Reza return now, one factor in seeing him leave the club could have been how Peeters phrased the meeting between the two at the start of the season (i.e. had it been along the lines of "You play and put in the commitment else you fuck off"... Reza could have felt it harsh even before being given a chance by the new man)0 -

Have Iran played in the Asian Cup yet ? I'd be interested in seeing how he does in that competition0

They've played one match beating Bahrain 2-0... Reza played for 75-mins but didnt get on the scoresheet, did have a chance to score yet hit wide (He was offside though)se9addick said:Have Iran played in the Asian Cup yet ? I'd be interested in seeing how he does in that competition

Forget Reza - he is not good enough.3

Better than Harriot so it's a yes in my bookValiantphil said:Forget Reza - he is not good enough.

He's coming back as Player-Coach4

Harriot is much better. He isn't an out and out striker and would still score about 5 times more goals than Reza ever wouldJ BLOCK said:

6 goals in 34 for Harriot last season, 1 in 15 for Reza. Callum Harriot is a 20 year old academy graduate who is still learning his trade, Reza is a 27 year old journeyman with a penchant for chucking himself on the floor. Reza - thanks, but no thanks.cafcnick1992 said:

I watched the Iran v Bahrain game and Reza was diabolical, utter shite.
By contrast a certain Zheng Zhi was superb for China vs Saudi Arabia, we went to the game and he was the stand out player, especially first half.
I even saw a fellow Charlton fan there!0 -
One is an embarrassment to the club with his cheating and diving, the other has potential but may never fulfil it.0

If you are referring to ZZ it's a bit late for him to fulfil his potential now, he's 34!Athletico Charlton said:One is an embarrassment to the club with his cheating and diving, the other has potential but may never fulfil it.

I'd love ZZ back. What a player he was.0

Even when 50, he'll have guile and pace to boot.0

Just scored in the 91st minute in the Asian Cup v UAE.0
