Can someone please explain why substitutes don't wear their kit under their tracksuits/traing gear?

    Because its very expensive to wash them and if they are an unused sub think how much we save!

    Because at any moment they may be whisked off to one of RDs other clubs.
    We should just have network shirts and be done with it.

    Yes, the phrase is "the substitute is stripping off" as in he's removing his track suit to reveal his kit underneath, not "the substitute has removed his track suit and can't find his shirt, is it in the dugout, no it's back in the dressing room"
