    Serves them right for changing the name from Gigg Lane - used to have one of the best playing surfaces around when I was a lad in those parts.

    Surely if you get a company to sponsor your stadium, the money you recieve from that should first & foremost, go towards keeping that product (which includes the pitch) in a good condition?

    I personally wouldn't be over the moon is my company was paying out over a long period of time..............
