Instead of toilet roll lets throw out cv's of all the available managers out there.

Why not go one step further & throw all the available managers on the pitch ?

How about just giving Chris Powell a brilliant standing ovation for being a thorough professional, a man of integrity as well as a fine human being. We don't need to organise it, it's going to happen spontaneously when he emerges from the tunnel.

Pah, I won't even look up from the programme for him, he's gone as he want good enough at the time, I'd much rather our fans got behind the current manager than him

How about a mass urination from the edge of the West Upper to the Lower West as the team come out on the pitch.

We could use BDL as the target.

Well, with the old fellas in the West, I'm shocked this doesn't happen every game anyway...........

Would have loved to have seen that go up in flames

Everyone needs to eat asparagus an hour before to make it a truly memorable multi-sensory piss-themed tifo.

Obviously never saw him as a player or met him as a person then

It does seem that a lot of people only think of Powell the manager these days, simply as it was more recent. Even without the great things that he did for us as a manager (putting us in this division for starters), I'd still clap someone who made 250 odd player appearances for us and wore pride in the shirt the way he did.

Same trolls pop up here and there to try and slag off those who want to do a good deed. Think they're just a bit insecure and want to get some attention - thats all.

I reckon it will piss down on the day and we'll end up with a soggy sludge of inferior grade toilet paper blocking the goal completely!

Definitely a goer on that basis!!

If we only get the upper tier at the toolbox, it's worth a rethink and we can do a "used" version down on top of Forde!

Yep, they could star in their own movie: Bitter and Bitterer.

Can see the point about being like Palace fans, but that's no reason we shouldn't?

Maybe on my own with this viewpoint, but surely we can show we can do it better than Palace?

It's not like we are causing harm with this tifo, just doing something cool, showing that our fans can come together and show we are united behind the team.

Absolutely spot on. It's not just a small section of palace fans who do it either, it's done all over Europe and in the conference too. Not sure why any Charlton supporters would be against helping support the team...Especially at times when we are in need.

Famous red and blue? The famous red and blue they didn't even wear up until about 30 years ago when they decided to steal Barcelona's kit and Benfica's badge? Nigels.

I do like a good tifo, regardless of whether Palace do it or not. However, you need a full stand and a passionate crowd to make it work, which probably rules us out for a few years.

Ooohhh we will be able to make some nice papier-mâché models of animals and stuff.

That's what I'm trying to say it doesn't matter whether Palarse do it or not.

Think up something original and authentic, and representative of us and I'm in.

First thoughts are we all turn up in Orient Express fancy dress costumes, but Hartlepool have done the fancy dress thing.

How about a giant aquarium filled with haddock suspended from zip wires over the centre of the pitch, and at half time have a (relegation) escapologist, dressed in red of course, having to free themselves after being immersed in the water?

id suggest they are man eating haddock other than that its a fantastic idea

Yes it does. They're a bloody laughing stock because of it.

What's the relevance of the skeleton/mask flag thing on that photo? Presume it's not intended to represent Palace fans, otherwise it would obviously show the face of an acne-ridden teenager, his face pale and gaunt as a result of spending his formative years locked in his bedroom with the curtains closed, repeatedly knocking one out over Hollyoaks.

    It's from the Saw films.
Saw? It would be red raw for the Palace fan.
