..although he wasnt the best, its the final ball, Varney ran his socks of, made some good runs, and made the most of his opportunities to cross the ball but the final ball from all our wide players just seems to be missing.
After today, play offs at best. Pards tactically a bit lacking, at 2-0 we should have shut up shop, played it around more and waited until they commited players. Support from our lot was bloody awful. On the plus side, Cook looks good, Matt Holland gave his all (again), Halford and McCarthy very good (Fortune nervous), I like Youga a lot even though he plays hoof ball quite often. Varney has quality (see his turn and shot in the first 5 mins). Grey held the ball up well (didnt get the 50/50s). So play-offs and hopefully a day at Wembley. We like it there though.
Ten year revisit anyone!!!??

    Our record at Wembley is lose - FA Cup Final, Win FA Cup Final, Lose Full Members Cup Final, Win Play Off Final .. we are on the wrong side of the sequence. Now if we were still in the cup we could lose the cup final and win the play off final
