Any updates?

I see Mr Johnson gets a run out.1
-
Is there anybody in this group of young players who looks like they might make it?0
-
I presume Johnson won't be considered for tomorrow, but may be an option for Saturday?0
-
No updates yet. Guessing its still 0-0. But they have said "Meanwhile, in other U21s news, @AyoObileye has extended his loan at @Dag_RedFC until the end of the season".0

Thanks, Westie.0

It' 0-0 at the break here at Sparrows Lane after a quiet first period. Key second-half updates to follow. #cafc

Judging by the lack of updates on Twitter, I'm glad I forgot about this one and didn't go - though would have been interesting to see Johnson play.0

Clean sheet must mean something at least?1
-
no Henerson, if recovered from injury surely he would have needed a game0
-
Karlan Aherne-Grant just tweeted 'the worst game I've ever played'- perhaps that sums it up!?0
-
Good Johnson got 90 minutes, but will probably need at least another 90 before considered for first team0
-
Assuming KAG won't be involved tomorrow then.1
-
Who is Konsa?0
-
KAG didn't have the best of games. Getting frustrated looked like he was trying to create his own chances rather than being played in. Left back looked good think his name was konsa. Johnson played about 60mins very commanding and very vocal. Continually talking to everyone around him. From what I heard could be just what we need, someone to take control from the back and command but clearly needs a few practice games to get his fitness up. Dillon looked comfortable in goal although both teams failed to create chances and both had very few shots. Munns and Muldoon both went off with knocks.5

Johnson was taken off after 65 minutes after breaking the record for the number of fucks uttered in one game. He played well and he is extremely vocal. He had a rant at our bench for not getting a sub on straightaway. He also battered the ref and assistants with a lorry load of fucks. Lennon played well on the left side of defence, in an extremely forgettable game. Both keepers had nothing to do. Ahearne- Grant had the best chance when he powered into the penalty area but instead of passing it to Kennedy he tried a shot which was blocked. Apart from Lennon and Johnson nobody enhanced their chances of getting into the first team.ross1 said:Good Johnson got 90 minutes, but will probably need at least another 90 before considered for first team

I'm convinced that K A-G isn't ready yet. Not many 17 year olds are (Shelvey, Bowyer spring to mind, but few others).1

Konsa is the under 18 centre half he was played out of position at left back, but did very well.0

Good to see you haven't given up on the development team Dick.

I will never give up on the youth games. I can honestly say I have never heard so much swearing in a game. When he gets in the first team, woe betide anybody who doesn't do their job properly. He didn't look as unfit as I expected and could be fit for the Brentford game.soapboxsam said:Good to see you haven't given up on the development team Dick.
