For some reason I hate the fact that everyone seems to love Vetokele. When the team is read out before kickoff at a home game he gets the biggest cheer everytime but I feel other players deserve more praise.
I personally think Gudmundsson is our best player by far and that is shown by the fact that he can perform and stand out in games where evryone else has been poor at best. And this is honestly not a joke but I think Churchy has potential, not wasted by the club but by the negativety of us, the fans. We all go on about wanting a striker who can help Vetokele and I think Church could do that but he wont be able to because even if we get an assisting striker to Vetokele fans will always get on their back because they don't score enough. Also as of late Wiggins has been receiving quite a bit of criticism which isn't deserved imo.
So anyway currently my favourite players have to be;
1. Gudmundsson
2. Solly
3. Ben Haim
4. Cousins (when played centrally)

Solly is my fav and the best by a country mile. Such a classy and fearless player who never fails to give his all and smash into tackles that his injury record suggests he should be mentally wary of, a true Charlton legend in my eyes and my favourite player for years. If we had 10 others with his ability and skill we would be top by a long way.
Others worthy of note are, Cousins who is the most willing of runners and grafters and always gives his all; JBG for his moments of class and skill, although is still think there is more to get from him in terms of consistency; Wiggins, who has the skill and ability to play PL but not the injury record...his attacking play is fab; Gomez for giving us hope for the future but can't get attached as his future will sadly be unlikely to be with us.
Outside of that, not a lot.6
