  • Johnson to start maybe and us to keep a clean sheet. Who knows we may even nick a goal. 1-0 addicks.

If RJ starts, think it would be a good idea to sellotape up his gob, following his record number of "fecks" in this afternoon's U21 game.

Guess it shouldn't be a problem as long as he doesn't look in the ref's direction.....

Norwich's manager is a clever guy, he will target our weak links and that includes our set piece defending, they will be absolutely bombarding our area during these.
If I was the Norwich Manager (or any Manager coming to the Valley for the rest of the season) I'd use the crowd against the home team... Play keep ball for long periods between the Defenders, the fans will get on the players backs for not pressing forward enough to regain possession and so gaps will be created.

Is another reason why we need to get behind the eleven on the pitch tonight, make a wall of noise for the opposition and un-nerve them...

At least that shows he's interested or something ...

Johnson will not start, he played sixty minutes yesterday. Is not yet fit enough. I can't see us scoring but I can see Norwich scoring. 2-0 to them Hooper and Redmond.

was he "fecking" as that's just his usual modus operandi or was it because he was being skinned every few seconds by an under 21 attacker? be interesting to know just how off the pace he is at this point.

He wasn't being skinned at all he played well. As it says in my u21 post the expletives were aimed at our players when they didn't do their jobs properly, the Referee and assistants. Also he had a go at the bench when Munns was obviously injured and the substitution wasn't made quickly enough. I doubt he will be fit enough for Brentford as he needs at least another game to get up to speed.

Just the sort of experienced player the young players need on the pitch. I hope he is fit soon.

While I can see risks with expletives on the pitch, hopefully it's a sign of a winning attitude.

  • Have we not conceded nine in the last four fixtures and scored two and that's with the 'new manager bounce' ?

God only knows what will happen when the Luzon honeymoon is over.

Anyone going into this game with the optimism that we will win is deluded,id love a scrappy 1-0 win but i really got a bad feeling it could be a horror show if we concede early. Please prove me wrong charlton please

Solly will presumably be absent, and possibly Jacko, which means leadership, and messages to players will be via a cunning series of prances, crouches and gesticulations which have been secretly formatted by a world leading sports psychologist at Sparrows Lane.
I like to win, don't like to lose, but I fear a defeat and the crisis level getting worse.

Reading this kinda makes me want to beat them now, a few of them seem to have a chip on their shoulder after the game in September.

    2-1 to Norwich
Scoreline to be pretty deceiving, they will outplay us for large parts.
    Hooper brace, JBG for us

i think the team will be as below. Whether its the right team to pick i don't know but i just think it will be the team.

    Dmitrovic

    Gomez Ben Haim Bikey Fox

    Gudmundsson, Buyens, Lepoint Cousins

    Watt Church

Subs - etheridge, Oneywu, Solly, Jackson, Vetokele, Wilson, Bulot

I am going to be slightly positive and say this will be a draw. 1-1

    I think Johnson might feature.

PS: You don't have to be especially fit to play centre-back. Other than GK it's the one position you get away with it, especially if you've got decent cover.

Usually supporters are wildly optimistic even when the chips are down. That most people are resigned to us getting thumped speaks volumes as to the current mood ...

Norwich are a decent side. If we score first (which is possible) it will be a 1-1 or 1-2 defeat, depending how long we have to hold out for. If we get a late goal, they will still equalise as we play a suicidal game. If they score first, it will be a 2 or 3 goal defeat. I know this but still I go !!!!
  • Assuming Solly will be out...

    Dmitrovic
    Gomez TBH Bikey Fox
    JBG Buyens Jackson Cousins
    Vetokele Watt

Something has to change soon, our results have to start picking up. I can feel it - it will happen!

    Unfortunately not tonight - 0-2.

I don't normally let 1 game determine my opinion, but today is a big big match. Norwich are a typical championship team at the moment who are on positive footing and with this now the time teams need to warm up for the play off position sprints, we will be coming up against similar opposition up till the end of the season.

They look extremely dangerous with new found belief and we look the opposite. BUT if there is fight and a hungry determination then who knows what can happen, we have stumped favourites before.

If it is a draw and I can see the page being turned, then it is a good result. Otherwise 0-2 to Norwich.

If it's ANOTHER draw I fully expect the Fraud Squad and IBAS to be paying us a visit in the next few weeks...

However as we go into the run in I expect our natural shiteness to save us from prosecution...

    `They are overdue a spanking'

I'm a firm believer that if the other side scores first, you have to score twice to win.
  • Hawksmoor to lead the covered end in "Just One Victory", Churchy to translate effort into a goal, and we do the double over Delia! Nurse, the screens...

Fair enough. I was being wildly optimistic thinking we might be wildly optimistic. Last game I was in that state for was the shambles at home to Barnsley last season, and that ended well.

I have the feeling it will be either of these two scores...

    2-0 to us or
    3-0 to them.

So if they get the open goal....
But hopefully it will be us that gets the opener.
  • If Solly is out then I'd like to see:

    3-5-2

    Dmitrovic

    Gomez Bikey TBH

    Cousins

    Wilson Jackson Wiggins

    JBG

    Watt Igor

Luzon will topple over when crouching at around the 56 minute mark
