Straw Clutching Thread

Reasons to not be totally suicidal part 3

1. Tony Watt looks like a decent player and now he's scored his first goal so the floodgates will open

2. Igor has finally ended his long barren run and so now the floodgates will open

3. We've given up on zonal marking

4. Roger Johnson will swear a lot and organise the defence giving Bikey a much needed "rest".

5. Bulot surely won't be picked again. Even Luzon/Roland will realise that.

6. It's nearly 93 days to the end of the season. 93 days is also the maximum loan period allowed now so we'll be straight in for a couple of decent UK based players any time now.

    8. Riga is "back in the fold". It was about this time last year he rode in on his shining bottle of Duvel and 'saved us'. Only a matter of time until he mounts up again.
  • All the nonsense going on at Brentford (with regards to Warburtons position) unsettles them and we win 3-0 on Saturday.

  • 13. It's highly possible that will have 3 weekend's away in Blackpool next season. Fleetwood, Preston and the hometown club itself.

    13. Quiet a few grounds in league one have terracing.

    14. One or two grounds in league one have proper goal-nets (eg Bradford City)

Wycombe might be going back up to League 1. Possible opportunity for that Charlton supporting gentleman to go and collect his spectacles from that "cabaret venue".

Things are bad when this is seen as positive

Three and none of these clubs are guaranteed to be in the division next season. These terraces are relatively modern and resemble less the terraces of old and more bus stops.

The players aren't trying any more and opposition players don't need to try as hard to beat us, so the pitch will stay pristine.

The training academy upgrade will really pay dividends since all of our first team clearly need to be sent back there to learn how to play football.

Exactly what i am banking on Henners all of the above.
Have a feeling Johnson is going to make a difference once Bikey is dropped sooner rather than later.
