Me too, we won't mention the lack of a 'number 9', decent back up keeper when Hendo got crocked, decent wide man, play maker in midfield and as for communicating / being honest with the fans...........................Oh what's the point, never mind rose tinted, more like blacked out glasses, roll on 3 o'clock.mrbligh said:

What a load of toffee, what has he done about our drop towards relegation? Our biggest problem is we've invited teams to constantly attach us and the law if averages says if you let them have 20 shots at goal and umpteen corners then they are going to find gaps occasionally and score. This bollox about we need a number 9 isn't the answer. We need a strike force that's going to cause chaos in the oppositions half and pin them back. In Igor and Watt ( w players from the network ?) we might just have that strike force. The other network players we have in the team are all pretty good as well (ok, a goalie that punches the ball when he should catch it might be the exception) and we should be using their strengths, not confining them to the last third of the pitch that we are defending. The manager is to blame if it happens more than once but when a manager first takes over a team it's mostly down to luck (good and bad) how the results go in the first few games. It's what they learn from those games and do about it that counts.0

I don't like Roland and the Kat's approach. I was supporting CAFC before Kat was born and while Roly was a nipper. I'll be supporting CAFC long after Roly and his network have moved on.
I always support the team, even when it contains players who i don't care for.
But somehow, someway I would like Roly to know how much i am beginning to despise him.

Defeat and relegation is also defeat and relegation for the team, and the players like Solly, Cousins, JJ and more who have Charlton in their blood as much as any fan. They were here before Roland and the Network, they have no affliation to his scheme, they are here because they and we want the best for Charlton. You cannot seriously expect anyone to take you seriously if you're truly advocating wishing for defeat.kentred2 said:

So we didn't need to replace Yann with a similar type of hold up player, really? Then you must be one of the few that thinks Igor getting a battering every week this season, which in no small part has contributed to his lack of fitness, has been a good idea. And why do you think we invite teams on? Because we don't have anyone upfront for an out ball, to give the midfield and defence a chance to move upfield! I'm not cheering on his team, I'm cheering on my team. If you cannot see the difference, that's a true shame. Frankly, wanting players like Wiggins, Solly, Cousins, Jackson and more to fail because of the ego of a man they don't know and have no more influence over than any of us (and arguably even less) is far more selfish to me, but it takes all sorts.kentred2 said:
