    In the real world if you are sacked in the first year you cannot make an unfair dissmissal claim unless you can prove sexism or racism. I don't think Dowie would have any chance at an IT, or even getting one.

    £800,000 K is more thn generous, if he litigates I think he will put off future employers as well.

    He'd be wise to accept it or try and negotiate it up a bit, then settle, bear in mind he's had six months salary off Charlton as well.
