    Seth, I think it was just the "we have to win this" comment. Only a crazy man would expect a Charlton win here.

    We should've started with an extra midfielder for Igor or Tony and given ourselves the 4-4-2 option later in the game if things were tight.

    Wilson and Buyens are unsurprisingly being pulled apart by Thorne, Hendrick and Hughes in 3v2.

    Glad I didn't have time to pop in the bookies on way home from work - no Cousins and Buyens and Wilson playing against the three man midfield of arguably the best team in the division didn't feel right when I saw it and doesn't look right now. We probably have to weather the storm, hope they don't score another and settle for the easy win and we get some more ball at the other end. At least we know we have goals in us.

    A bit of perspective will do us no harm. Regroup for Saturday against a team who are no better than us. Derby are a class apart. They were good before the window with the lines of Rusell and Bryson but they are even stronger now.

    Let's see what Luzon is made of. It needs a change in central midfield before we go 3 down. But I would keep two strikers on. If we can keep it tight maybe they will be complacent and we may grab one after the break.

    Damn! These optimism pills are fantastic!
