    Well done all involved on getting the game sold out!

    I've been impressed with the marketing. The youngest in the family is 8 and his whole school (in Beckenham) had football for a fiver leaflets handed out for them to take home. Obviously this must have been the same for many many schools.

    So a good job all round - lets just hope the product lives up to it tomorrow with some goals and a win, COYR!

    No. Hudds have been allocated 2000 & sold 1800 so far & Hudds fans can pay on the gate.

    Yes, the schools leaflets have been done at every Football for a Fiver match, across Bromley, Bexley, Lewisham, Greenwich, NW Kent and, sometimes, Tower Hamlets - about 300 primary schools in total. They are a big driver of sales.

    This year they've been given to Camden, Hackney, Hammersmith, Islington, Kensington, Paddington, Barking, Barnet, Poplar, Acton, Barnes, Uxbridge and Westminster for good measure.

    Good to see we are finally targeting the likes of Barnes and Acton. Getting the locals there to Stamford Bridge for a Fiver would be good going....

    I do like the idea of a full Valley, but on days like these I get a tad annoyed at all the fact the crowd will probably be over a 10,000 less on Tuesday. The campaign is great however and everyone should be appluaded for its success yet again.

    Football has changed however, there is so much on tv now now that it is hard to capture a persons loyalty on a simple visit. When I was a kid it was the FA Cup games, the odd Big Match on ITV and England games, so a trip to see football was magical. The club needs to move this up a notch in my opinion, we need to lower the season ticket prices and offer more things like The JAckson Five of a few seasons back. Five games at £5 each would be a start.

    Anyone see the four blokes at the very front of the Jimmy Seed (nearest the East stand) cheering when Charlton scored? Obviously left it too late to get tickets in the home end so decided to try their luck in the away end. Why not eh?
