Well, that's the stastisics, peeps.

We play some very good football at times and at last we are scoring goals.

So why are we conceding?

3 very good saves by Nicky Weaver - each followed up for a Blackpool goal
Ratchubka (sp) makes a number of very good saves also, but the loose ball is scrambled away.

Parts of the team and certain players are very good but other areas of the team lacking.
Are we just too physically lightweight, especially in centre mid?
Are defenders ballwatching and too slow to react after a Weaver save?
Are we too '3rd Division' up front, needing too much time, another touch or just not ruthless enough?

Answers on a postcard, please.

Oggy, if I knew all the answers I'd have won the Charlton Life match last year :-)
  • Doesn't exactly fit in with Golfie's mantra that scoring goals wins games.
