    Henderson 6.5 - Couple of good saves and no chance with goals; slow distribution
    Solly 5 - Awful first half and terrible mistake for the first goal in playing a ball already going into touch for our throw...
    Fox 5.5 - Did OK but rabbit in headlights a lot of the time
    Ben Haim 5 - Other than a couple of buccaneering runs, was very average throughout
    Johnson 4.5 - Massive error for 2nd goal; just did not look comfortable all game
    Gudmundsson 6 - Tried hard but nothing much came off for him
    Buyens 6.5 - Looked positive but could not control midfield for long enough
    Cousins 7 - All effort all game, but no real thrust; I want him to take these games and make a mark on them!
    Bulot 6 - Looked to take on his man but given no space
    Vetokele 6.5 - He will not want to remember this match; hit the bar twice, but won the penalty. Never hid...
    Watt 6 - Some tricky runs but missed the (relatively easy) chance to get us level and therefore get something from the game

    Solly - 4. Not his usual consistent self today. Was at fault for at least one of the goals and felt that, as captain, he didn't do enough to motivate the team to keep going when we got it back to 2-1.
    Fox - 5.
    Ben Haim - 6.
    Johnson - 4. Bad, and again was at fault for one of the goals. Though steadied in the second half.
    Gudmundsson - 6
    Buyens - 6. Composed performance.
    Cousins - 7. Doesn't stop trying and played some very good passes and through balls throughout the game. MOTM + POTY
    Bulot - 6.
    Vetokele - 7. Extra point for winning the penalty, he knew that he was going to get absolutely battered by Steele but still went for it and won us the penalty.
    Watt - 7. Ball sticks to his feet like glue.

    I'd rate everyone with a 5, except Henderson who did nothing wrong 8 and Buyens gets an extra half point for well taken penalty, so 5.5.

    Solly 5 - poor game today - kicked a pigeon.
    Fox 5 - adequate,just - poses no attacking threat.
    Ben Haim 6 quiet - one crunching tackle in 1st half where he was lucky he got the ball first.
    Johnson 4.5 - what a cock-up for 2nd goal.
    Gudmunsson 5 - anonymous, had to check to see he was still on pitch.
    Buyens 5.5 also anonymous, extra half point for pen.
    Cousins 8 - thought he was superb - controlled the midfield. 1 memorable moment was a high swirling long clearance which he controlled and laid off in 1 movement.
    Bulot 5- flattered to deceive
    Vetokele 6 - outmuscled - looks disinterested - vastly different from player i saw at Pompey pre-season.
    Watt 6 - blustered - missed good one-on-one.

    Henderson 7 Good display. Not at fault for goals.
    Solly 5 Very average, I'm afraid.
    Fox 6 Probably the best of a poor bunch (of defenders) today.
    Ben Haim 5 Poor performance, riddled with errors.
    Johnson 4 Very poor performance, riddled with errors!
    Gudmundsson 7 Looked good when on the ball.
    Buyens 7 Competent display, albeit with one or two misplaced passes. Excellent penalty.
    Cousins 7 Worked hard, as usual
    Bulot 6 Didn't quite work for him today, but reasonable performance.
    Vetokele 5 Didn't seem to offer much. Should have done better with his header.
    Watt 7 Looked dangerous on the ball but a bad miss.

    Henderson - 7 Handled well.
    Solly - 6 Bit of an error early on but after that he was ok.
    Fox - 7 Thought he was ok and deserves his place in the team.
    Ben Haim - 6 Looked a bit rusty but still did some classy things. The 50 yard run into their penalty area was good.
    Johnson - 5.5 Despite his height, he isn't the cleanest header of ball. His timing isn't right. Made a mistake...that happens but didn't let his head drop.
    Gudmundsson - 6.5 Looked good on the ball but wish we could find another corner taker. If anything, I'd like to see him on the edge of the area for our corners to unleash a shot.
    Buyens - 7 Good performance. He won't hit too many killer balls but makes the turns and quick passes look easy.
    Cousins - 6 Took a long while to get into the game but once he did, he was fine.
    Bulot - 6.5 Had a go and looked to play the ball quickly. Lovely cross for Igor's header.
    Vetokele - 6 On another day, he might have had a couple of goals. The header against the bar was a really good effort.
    Watt - 6 Not his day but still managed to provide some moments of excitement.

    I'm enjoying watching this new team. We've got some good footballers who want to play and entertain. Yesterday was a bad result with some crucial lapses but overall it wasn't a bad performance. The lads tried to the end against a very useful and VERY big Blackburn team. They've got to be the biggest/bulkiest team in the league?

    Henderson - 6.5: no chance with any of the goals and left horribly exposed
    Solly - 5: up against a very good winger in Marshall but he was poor today
    Fox - 5: shaky, like the rest of the back four
    Ben Haim - 4.5: one of his worst performances of the season
    Johnson - 4: one excellent goal-saving block in the second half but otherwise very poor. Hopefully a one-off
    Gudmundsson - 7.5: very skilful and worked hard to try and fashion openings
    Buyens - 5.5: gives the ball away far too much and lacks pace and muscle when we're not in possession
    Cousins - 6.5: worked hard but fell below his recent very high standards
    Bulot - 6: a quiet game, save for one great cross to Igor in the second half
    Vetokele - 5: livened up in the second half but poor overall. The ball has ceased to obey him
    Watt - 7: should have scored in the second half but worked diligently throughout against a very solid defence and has the ability to self-create
