not necessarily a Charlton fan. I sometimes clap oppositions goals at The Valley although admittedly I don't jump up and down but because of the state they are in and the fact they don't score often maybe he was just happy to see a goal.

Very good finish by Church, and a surprising amount of power in his shot :-)

Agree. That was a tidy effort from Church.
    Neat control, turn and despatch.

If Watt had scored that, people would have been salivating.

I very much doubt he'd respond the same at the toolbox, even if it was a 90th minute Johan special from 30 yards.

my favourite type of free kick, the one that goes across the keeper and into his side on the goal.

Question for you ? (or any CL)

It Was a great strikers goal.

Why has it taken Simon 18 months to score a goal like that ???

When i was a manager at a decent youth level if my son went 3 games without scoring
i used to put him back on the wing, (No pressure then!)

This is Professional Football at championship Level,
How long were we supposed to wait for Simon to come good ?

I loved the fact that we had 4 players in the box, that was unheard of under Peeters and Powell unless we were losing and we were in the last few minutes.

I accept under Luzon we will lose some games playing this way but i have wanted this type of attacking in numbers for years, so i'm in.
