Charlton Supporters Team, help with pitch hire?

Just wondering if anyone on here has any experience hiring 11-a-side pitches in the Charlton/general Greenwich area?

Ive been in touch with a couple of other supporters teams who are keen to play us on our own patch. Struggling get any info from the interwebs or over the phone. Apparently when it comes to pitches run by Greenwich council you need to confirm that 50% of the players live in Greenwich and all need to be registered with them.

Any parks or venues with straight-forward booking systems in particular that anyone can recommend?

    when I played for the supporters team (albeit back in the late 80's early 90's) we used to play at Sparrows Lane, no chance they'll give you a pitch there?

    Try the community trust, they used to let our Sunday team hire the 11 a side 3G pitch at sparrows lane. I'm sure they won't have a problem if it is available

    If not Greenwich university next door let us play our games on their pitch.

    Cold harbour is £88 for a grass pitch

    Sorry mate not sure on current prices. U would like to hope the trust might let u play there for free or a small donation. Both were reasonably priced when we used to play there
