Definitely Mendonca for Curbs.
Kinsella and Johnny Robinson were both brilliant but they'd be dogging it out in a mid table team (like the one we have now) if we didn't have super Clive up top.
I've never seen a player turn an entire club around like Mendonca did.
Suddenly we had a genuinely lethal centre forward. That televised game against Bradford sticks in the mind as the moment I thought 'we've got someone special here'. It made everyone believe we could go for promotion.

Curbishley ... Mark Kinsella (Could have gone for Mendonca but he was a proven goalscorer in Division One whilst in some ways Kinsella was a risk coming from the Lower-Leagues)

Pardew ... Alex Song (Maybe we'd have signed him had we stayed up, another Francis Coquelin type player)
Parkinson ... Johnnie Jackson (Only Kinsella has been a better Captain in the last 15-years)
Powell ... Yann Kermorgant (Free Transfer, who's career had pretty much crashed in England after Leicester)
Peeters ... Johann Berg Gudmundsson (For obvious reasons and who looks to be in the top three for Player of the Year this season)
Luzon ... Allou Diarra (Not many to choose from but when one of his signings played in a World Cup Final for France...)1 -

Dowie - Souleymane Diawara - I can't go for Reid because he was injury prone and only played 16 Premier League games for us in the whole season. Diawara went on to play ion the Champions League and because of that became our most expensive defender (both purchase and sale)
