Pope heading out on loan

Manuel Neuer has just let in a goal similar to Nick pope against Derby( their 2nd goal )
Bayern against Munchen gladbach. On BT.
Will the best keeper in the world now be loaned out to a bundesliga 4 team ?1 -
Neuer could have done better for 2nd goal another one going under his body.
Bayen 2-0 down at home ! were 1 to 8 on at bookies.0 -
See a fluffed clearance from Nicky led to Northampton's goal on Saturday. It happens.0

See how he deals with it! That's what matters! If he comes back stronger then good on him if it completely destroys him then he has a problem!Dippenhall said:See a fluffed clearance from Nicky led to Northampton's goal on Saturday. It happens.

I am a big fan of Nick, but I think this is nonsense.SilentAddick said:I still think he will do a great job for us - do not forget the disastrous zonal marking at corners and then the public slagging off by that tw*t Bob Peeters that did it for him and his confidence. With the discarding of the zonal marking at corners he would probably give Henderson a good run for his money between the sticks...
Henderson is a different gravy between the sticks.0 -
Sell him. Surplus to requirements. Can't kick to save his life. Rabbit in the headlights. League 1 at best. Take the 750k.4

What some people don't realise is that keepers tend to mature and play at their peak in their 30's. How old is Popey? 23? How many times do you reckon the Hammers fans wanted rid of Henderson? Now he's our hero! Give the boy a chance, he's a young lad who will grow into a very good keeper. I think he could be our homegrown version of Deano, can't kick but a fantastic keeper.3

Blimey, full marks to his agentWSS said:Villa and Spurs tracking him. Apparently.

Sorry, it's been said on many occasions, but Popey is not home grown.Its_Hamer_Time said:What some people don't realise is that keepers tend to mature and play at their peak in their 30's. We signed him from Bury Town. Bury in Cambridgeshire, that is...0 -
Well I'm glad that's the only point you managed to pick from that, well done mate! Sorry I wasn't trawling through reams and reams of info to find it. And at what age did we sign him? From looking at Wiki is was 4 years ago, so when he was 18, so I think we've had a fair amount to do with his progression.East_Stand_Loopy said:

The apparent value is by us.
I can't believe the amount of rubbish that Agents get out there. KM said at a fans meeting that she has had to, literally, turn her phone off as the young players agents leave her so many voicemail messages that her account gets full up and it won't accept any more.
The £750k, which is, apparently, our valuation could be because we want to scare away potential buyers but it's more likely to be that with three years left on his contract his Agent wants to earn another commission so is looking to have the contract extended or orchestrate a move to earn a cut of a fee and the new contract.0 -
She also mentioned that they don't care about the time, she gets calls from them at midnight and also on Sundays.kings hill addick said:The apparent value is by us.

Her phone better be on when JBG and Gomez agents phone to negotiate a deal.1

Still the second best keeper at the club by a long distance! Would do a lot better coming into this tram now we're doing well and has a decent defense in from to him! I'm sure Johnson the organiser is easier to play behind than Bikey the liability! Has a long future hopefully at Charlton!1

Heard he is streets ahead of Joe Hart when he was that age0
-
We'd be mad to cash in at this point. Get him back for next season and let him fight for number two spot.0
-
Give Nick Pope 2-3 years further development including loans to upper L1 clubs like MK Dons and I think we will have a very good keeper on our hands. Silly to let him go now.1
-
If they stay up Orient might be a good club for him next season on loan. Certainly see a lot of the ball, gets to stay in London and a decent enough ground3

Where do Dimitrov. Phillips. Mitov and Thomas all fit in around Pope ?0
-
Sure Pope can get a Championship gig if not with us. Does Hendo contract last long? Sell on?
Dimitrov network
Phillips off.
Mitov next big thing
Thomas know nowt about him
Oneiwu 14 but highly rated
I'd like a similar thread on strikers. KAG Hanlan Lookman Umerah - any more?
