    RIP - 'Stand By Me' is one of the greatest songs of all time. It accompanied a great film in the 80s of the same name.

    Stand by Me was the first song my Wife and I danced to at our Wedding Reception. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

    One of the first oldie RIP threads where as soon as I saw his name I thought oh no what a shame great voice. Soundtrack to the best 80s film ever and an iconic timeless classic tune that will never not bring a smile to the face regardless of how your feeling
