With the aid of the museum trustees and the organisers of the player of the year, we have arranged for a reception for all Valley Party candidates and activists to take place in the Valley museum on Sunday, May 3rd, the 25th anniversary of the election itself, from 4.30-6pm.

Afterwards there are tables reserved at the player of the year for the Valley Party contingent. The reception is free, but if you also want to attend the player of the year you will need to book places, priced £36, from the Valley ticket office. Obviously we don't know what the demand from the VP might be for the player of the year, but in fairness to other supporters who may wish to attend that it is important that these places are booked as soon as possible.

Please also let me know you have bought tickets and want to attend as part of the Valley Party group so that we can liaise with the organisers over seating arrangements.

If you do not intend to go to the player of the year but plan to attend the reception it would be helpful to know that in due course, but it's not essential now. Thanks.

Delighted that the Museum is hosting this.

Should I win the lottery between now and then I shall be there in person, if not, I will certainly be there in spirit...

Just arrived back, in the Long Pond. Mike reminded me that you are Kevin Fox's son. What a star he was. If only we'd believed a bit more, he'd have been Councillor Fox!

Hope you all have a terrific reunion, it was one of the most memorable times of my life working with you all back then. I made new friends then that are still friends today. I so wish I could be there to share it with you, and I will be in spirit - cheers guys and girls! LLLABH

11pm, May 3rd, 1990, Woolwich Town Hall. Lots of Addicks milling about outside.
Entry ticket for Candidates: 'Admit One, plus Guest'.
"Hi, I'm a Candidate and this is my guest". Candidate enters, giving ticket to guest, who then goes outside, reappearing, with A.N. Other, to say "Hi. I'm a Candidate and this is my guest". Repeat.
By midnight, we had half the Covered End in there, didn't we? Happy days.

Thanks to the museum trustees for hosting today's event. Still don't understand how Dicko looks the same age as he was in 1990.

I saw Steve On Tuesday & thought exactly the same.
