We didn't lose to the team top of the table.
We still haven't been beaten at home by them for 40+ years.
We are still 5th.
We are only six points off automatic.
There are ten games to go.
We will win on Saturday.

Sometimes distance lends some perspective ;-)

I'm quietly optimistic that we'll finish top two... I wont say why, for now ;-)

I'm a bit concerned we'll be scrapping for a playoff place rather than an automatic place right now. We seem to becoming adrift from the top 4, or at least when they drop points we fail to capitalise on it.
  • Well done Weegie thats lifted my spirits

Feel a bit like the Watford game that we had the opportunity to take all 3 points and rather withered away. Take nothing away from Bristol City as I think they deserved the point. But when I had a pint in the Oak afterwards the table didnt look so bad as your post demonstrates.

The first half was good. We passed it well, looked threatening and showed a desire to get the ball back when they were in posession. Unfortunately, like against Watford, the second half was a different story. There isn't a mole in our camp putting bromide in the half time tea is there?

The ghost of Iain Dowie? No, can't be, he's not dead.
