Sporting nicknames

Following on from a comment on another thread re nicknames, what are your best/favourite sporting nicknames?

I would like to put forward:

Whispering Death - Michael Holding.

Nobody - John Eales (as in Nobody's Perfect)

    Matt Tees .. a k a Lino .. always on the floor (will the 'younger brigade' even get the reference to linoleum ?)

    My brother has a wart on his ear, so we call him Sir Walt Ear Raleigh.

    *but he doesn't play sport, so I guess it doesn't count.......

    Has always been my personal favourite. I've also heard people refer to Kevin Pietersen as 'figjam' although I'm sure that nickname was originally given to Phil Mickelson
