A road commemorating the life of a popular historian has been branded "homophobic" by a gay couple who are demanding its name be changed...

    Tbf to the gay couple, the man's name was Bangay. Bangay Road isn't "as bad" as Bangays Road.

    What stupid is the council got his name wrong or they left out an apostrophe either of which would have meant the road name made sense.

    They had one job and got it wrong

    It's Bangays Way, not Road.

    Frank Bangay Way seems OK (as does Bangay Way). It's not homophobic though, just poorly thought through.
