Is it safe to go back in the oak tonight? i missed the Watford game as i was in prague. But i think we all agree service against Palarse wasnt the best. any crazy plans of not serving lager tonight that i should be worried about?

    They're no longer serving Vodka, strong lagers or any other spirits before the match. only fosters, strongbow, guiness or john smiths and bottles before the game.

    apparently it was quite empty for the watford game as everyone went elsewhere.....

    Watford game was much better. Partially helped by many regulars going elsewhere and a distinct improvement in service.

    Lib was packed out with people who had obviously never drunk in a CIU working mens club before. Move away from the bar so people will know that you're not all middle class boys. ; - )

    Also get a membership. Cost about £18 a year but won't have to pay £1 and you can get in any CIU club anywhere in the country. Good for away games or just finding a cheap beer.

    Went back in the oak after. The guvnor was coming around asking people that the burgers were now half price from the old white van o/s. Wish the beer was half price.
