    It may not be soft porn but the content of the video wouldn't have been permitted before the TV watershed, yet the club thought it appropriate to put it on YouTube where a young fan would easily stumble across it.

    Stumble on what? I watched Doctor in the house the other night and then on the buses. More sex on those two than that video. 1970?

    My God, if a child has access to a device that doesn't have adequate security blockers and they see some one getting a bunk up on the Internet, it's the fault of the person responsible for putting the security features on the device not the people whose film.they watched

    Kids just have to type something accidentally on google and be on a full porn site. I worked in a school, which of course had the highest security settings going and a system with a safe child friendly search, linked with schools all around the area and one kid typed in 'Dragon'... What came up? A dragon painted knob! In which of course was taken down immediately and the proper channels were taken in terms of the kid, what else can you do.

    I agree with North London Addick (I'll put the Capitals in for you) it's the job of the parents, carers, teachers etc to put in the security blankets for them, not for those who film the adverts. Also, after the watershed how many kids are still up watching all sorts of adverts and trailers, and probably game of thrones and walking dead! The video was a tame comedic piece.

    The fella who's idea this was, I understand as left the football club. The chances of this type of advert/video being shown again by Charlton now may be minimal and Meire will probably want to check the content before giving the okay in future.

    So parents should block access to the clubs you tube site to prevent then seeing faked sex?

    Only Charlton Supporters could whinge and moan this much. Who cares it was funny. If you don't like it don't watch it. Everyone knew the ending, I'm just waiting for the sequel.

    Personally don't find it offensive more tacky/passé. I can remember us selling Score Draws and I've Scored at Charlton knickers back in the Selhurst days so not really a new take on things.

    You can't have it both ways (ooh, missus) ... Either it's a great success because so many people viewed and talked about it or it isn't. The one thing we can all agree on is that it got noticed and that was a function of it being controversial. You can't then complain about it being talked about.
