    Watched the first half of the Yanks v The Ozzies and was impressed by the standard. 2 sides in the top ten, so the play was good and the Goalkeeping is competent.

    Hope Solo the USA Keeper made two cracking saves to keep the Aussies out in the 1st half. Only watched 1st half and highlights of 2nd but can see why they are favourites with the Germans.
    Some great skill shown in the close game between Japan and Switzerland.

    I will say this: while the play has been great, the female referees are mostly fucking dreadful - that decision on the Swiss yesterday was little short of scandalous
