Should we send the boys round to take care of this Timar fella?

He really needs to take a look at his tackles if he's buggered-up two players' knees in the space of 6 months...

except Lita was signed BEFORE McLeod even got injured. Perhaps Pards has a sixth sense.

What terrible luck, all the best to Izzy for a swift recovery.

FYI, Timar has the worst disciplinary record of the entire Plymouth squad. 9 yellows this season which is pretty poor. How surprising.

At Argyle, they call Timar 'the Beast'.

He got booked before the Izzy foul - and if the ref had booked him again he would have been off but the ref bottled it.

Anyway 10 bookings this season - 2 game suspension now.

Scant consolation for recklessly ending the season for 2 of our players.

hope he gets a bit back on April 5th... doing two blokes and getting 10 yellows in 35 games is no coincidence

The Addicks chief said: "It hasn't been the greatest season for Izale because he hasn't had many chances and now this has happened.

"Unfortunately that is the plight of your career sometimes. He will have to write off this season, but with the renewed knowledge of the injury, it is not as serious as it once was."
  • Best wishes to Izzy for a full recovery

Charlton striker Izale McLeod has vowed to bounce back from his devastating knee injury "fitter and stronger than I ever was before."

The 23-year-old was hurt while playing for Colchester against Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday after he completed his loan move to Layer Road last week.

"I can't be bitter about it," he told Colchester's official website. "I just need to put all my energies into getting back to full fitness and I am sure I will be fitter and stronger that I ever was before.

"I am going to see one of the best knee specialists in the whole country so I will be in the safest hands.

"I knew a few of the Colchester players before and despite the fact that I was only there a short while, I will be following their results closely in the next few weeks and hope they can get out of trouble."
