    I think away support is probably the best indicator of size, likewise home support.

    Carter - In all honesty, would you swap Charltons history to have that of Coventry or Southampton??? No, because they're not big clubs, regardless of their 15 years or whatever it was of top flight football.

    Plucky little Coventry spent 34 consecutive years in the top flight.

    Not bad for a small club. ;o)
