[cite]Posted By: Afternoon Delight[/cite]My first away game was a 7-0 defeat at Brighton with Jimmy Case getting a hat-trick..........

That was my first weekend at Uni. It was the commentary game on the old Radio 2. Once we had gone 2-0 down I decided to go out shopping in town instead of listening to more. At about 5pm I was in a sports shop, so asked if they knew the final score. Unfortunately they told me, assuming I was a Brighton fan...

That was my first away game outside London. 5-0 down at half time! Also 1st time on the Lewis coach with the legend that was Fat Eddie driving!

Strangely Brighton 7-0 was also going to be my first ever away game but the fella taking me luckily for me broke his leg the day before!

I think Fulham was my first away game, Paul Curtis winner in 87 minute.

    *gulps* First win in 18 months. . . . . . . those were the, erm, days :o(

I was there too. Tony lange made his debut in goal. When we scored I got carried from the back of the terrrace to the front!

As well as my two above, the Full Members Cup final was fairly crappy too

All of those that are moaning about our current standing would do well to read some of these!

Even at my age of 26 years young I remember things being truly shit before they started getting good.

Spot on. It is saying something that this is the most depressing game of football I have ever seen and we still got a point.

went to burnley some years ago, started well went 1-0 up through alan simonsen, then proceeded to lose 7-1,although there was a punch-up outside the ground after the game which was amusing.
