Jordan Archer (former academy player?)

Millwall have just signed this young keeper after he was released by Spurs.

According to his Wiki page, Spurs took him from us in 2009, aged 16. Does anyone remember him?

Played 13 games for Northampton last season, maybe they're looking for League 2 football next year.

I understand he is highly rated but like David Button has been forced out of Spurs because they can afford to buy keepers of the quality of Friedal and Lloris and at best he would have been 4th choice . Archer made the bench in the Europa League a couple of times but unlike Button he never got on . Admittedly David only saw action as a sub for the injured Gomez for 10 minutes of a Carling Cup tie at Doncaster.

Interesting they gave him a free . Didn't Button cost us a fee ? Tottenham are not normally generous when allowing their academy products to leave.
