    all 4 teams in the semis have been awarded a penalty

    the only one that was a penalty was missed

    Indeed it has.

    Such a shame, but it is early doors for the WWC, no doubt early men's World Cup referees weren't great either.

    I'm sure it will be addressed and improved for the next one.

    Two blinding penalty kicks though, despite neither being a penalty!

    Caught her ankle, but as you say, a desperate dive. Rarely seen in Women's football.
