PSV Eindhoven have secured the services of Albert Gudmundsson from SC Heerenveen.

The 18-year-old Icelandic midfielder has signed a three-year contract at the Philips Stadion with an option of a further year.

    Well this is the thing... Everyone says the joke has been done before but so far as I'm aware I'm the first to put a smiley in the title (almost as a warning), so nice new unique approach there... ;)

    But Gudmundsson didn't play for us in 2008, so why would it have been funny then? It's funny now.
