I don't know what all the fuss is about.........nobody seemed to mind when we played this "team" for the 2ns halves against Welling & D&R and I keep being told they are back-up to the first 11 & so be prepared to see them at some point in time during the season.......2

You could say the same about a Formula One Car though, fans being annoyed that the Red Bull isnt running at full capacity during the practice sessions (Which are shown live to fans these days on SkySportsF1).
Red Bull / Mercedes / Ferrari are all going to run their cars at less capacity because in public they dont want their rivals to be aware just how strong their going to be.
Same goes with Football, yes it would be great if Makienok played every game and ended up scoring 10-goals in three matches, all that would succeed in doing is telling Chris Ramsey to closely mark him with their best Defender etc... Pre-Season Friendlies are all about one thing, match fitness... Everyone has to be match fit by the start of the season in case called upon
Would prefer Holmes-Dennis to be playing tonight with us getting beaten 4-0 yet getting however many minutes under his belt because if he gets called upon and cant play 60 / 70-mins there will be uproar on here as to why.
As for head-tennis... You see a bunch of Footballer messing around... To me its teaching them how to pass the ball to each other in small areas with control / whilst communicating with each other, instead if Patrick Bauer needs match practice learning how to tackle etc... then I'm bloody worried for the season ahead!!2 -
