Oz lead by 23 at close of play.
Edgbaston here we come.3 -
Unbelievable this for me. Had to give my ticket for yesterday up. I don't suppose I'll see much cricket played today, and as for tomorrow.......only England can let you down when they do well!ricky_otto said:Days 2, 3and 4 edgbaston for me.

I'm able to listen Ok in Prague thanks to my VPN, but TV? Is there anything out there on the net that gives a decent reliable picture?
It's really bad that the BBC cannot even compete for a highlights show. **** you, Rupert, you Aussie ****! :-)0 -
Also pees me off that after sooooooo many years the only place you can get it on radio is R4 LW - what cars nowadays have LW ?? I know you can get it on MW 726 or something, but its crap.0
-
But it's also on 5 Live extra, a digital station. If you have it in a mobile you could plug it into your car system, hopefully? Or just put it on the passenger seat and listen. That's what I'm going to do when I head out in half an hour.The_President said:Also pees me off that after sooooooo many years the only place you can get it on radio is R4 LW - what cars nowadays have LW ?? 22-1 for an Australian win on Bet 365.
You laugh but if England have to chase much more than 100 it could be interesting in my view. Our batting can be distinctly flaky as we saw at Lords.1 -
Have you ever been optimistic about anything?LenGlover said:22-1 for an Australian win on Bet 365.

Anderson out of the 4th test, blow that, he likes TB too.0
-
For James Anderson injury, see Glenn McGrath injury after treading on the ball second test 2005. Glenn missed the 2nd and 4th test and wasn't fully fit for the 3rd or the 5th. This after his demolition job in the 1st test.
The cricket bet would now be on a Desmond TUTU and the Aussies retaining the Ashes. Hope i'm wrong but history repeats itself, not just in Life but in sport as well.1 -
50 plus years of supporting Charlton should answer your question!Clem_Snide said:

This isn't over yet. If Australia get a lead of 150, it could get tense0

Well then it will be tense as they will easily get that.The_President said:

The way we reacted yesterday on social media etc was pure cringe. We hadn't come close to winning the game and were already rubbing the Aussie noses in it.0 -
Picking the holes in the field. Times like this we need Jimmy! Only takes a slice of luck we've not had so far in the morning session though :-)0

As long as we stay away from the big red button marked "FUCK UP"...
Never envisaged being on a level with the Aussies this season. Unfortunately all my bets reflect this misconception.2 -
This is desperate - doubts are probably already forming in our batsmens heads1
-
Nevill gone!! Thank god for that. Another 20-30 runs in that partnership and I would start getting twitchy.1
-
217-8
Nevill gone for 59.
sixth wicket for Finn0 -
Australia effectively 72-80

Need to finish this feckin quickly now. Cant let them get over 100.1
-
Chasing anything around 120 could be very nervous given our top-order
In that situation they'd probably be best off treating it like a T20 and just going out to throw the bat1 -
The lead is 100 now.
245-80 -
245-9 Hazlewood gone0
-
Anything over 150 and I make them favourites. Why did we go so over the top and run their faces in it yesterday? Going to come back and bite us.2
-
I'm still very confident.1
-
Wouldn't say so myself. 235-240 maybe would just make them favourites.DamoNorthStand said:Anything over 150 and I make them favourites. Why did we go so over the top and run their faces in it yesterday? Going to come back and bite us.
