A 4-0 home romp to Charlton.
  • Feeling confident, assuming Austin is gone or not playing Saturday then i think we can get off to a winning start 2-1 win for the Mighty Addicks!
  • 1-1 or 1-2. QPR to score from a set piece, and TW to net for us.

Why is everyone panicking about QPR? Most of there team they released was starters last term for them. Fer looks to be on his way. Austin is who we need to be worried about if he starts. Baring in mind if he was to get injured cOuld cost him his transfer. Also he stated to a fan he only trained twice last week on Twitter I find strange. He can't be match fit I hope. Got a feeling a 3-1 win!!

QPR have forgotten how to win. We are a work in progress, so 1-1.

If we can keep a clean sheet we will be exceeding expectations, at least from me, and if we're playing well enough to keep that clean sheet it suggests we will also be playing well enough to score given our attacking options.
A complete and utter stab in the dark, but if we keep them out for 25 minutes, then I think we have a chance for 1 or 2 nil.

QPR's away record last season wasn't too impressive - 2 wins, 1 draw and 16 defeats - so we certainly shouldn't be intimidated by them. That said, it will effectively be two new sides out there on Saturday and I wouldn't be surprised if it ended all square. I certainly expect us to get a result.

Does anybody know how late you can turn up to your best mates wedding and it would still be socially acceptable?

It starts at 2pm. If I got there for about 6.30 would that be ok?

So turn up at 2.00. Big question is how it looks when you nip out at 2.30 into the waiting Valley-bound taxi
    The wedding's in Barbados....

I think we'll go 1-0 down early in the first half and we'll be expecting the worst. Then, a rousing comeback in the 2nd half with goals from Big Mac and Tony Watt will result in a 2-1 opening day victory to the Addicks. And we'll all be smiling. :-)

The difference in time zones should Make for no problems then, although a direct flight from London to Barbados might be tough to find
  • A 4-0 home romp to Charlton.

Did anybody see this post predicting 4-0 with just one "like" say to themselves "I bet @happyvalley was the one who liked this"... just me?

    Ok then.

2-0 big Mak and Watt to score but could be a different story if Phillips and Austin are still around for them.
