Johann B. Gud lyrics by Les Chuck Berry

His mother told him someday you will be a man,
And you would be the winger for the Charlton fans.
Many people coming from miles around
To watch you play your football when the sun go down
Maybe someday your name will be in lights
Saying Johann B. Gud tonight.

Go Go
Go Johann Go
Go Go
Johann B. Gud.

Legend! Now he needs a song sorted once and for all.

    Johann.B.Good

Born in Reykjavik where the weather is cold.
Pitched up in SE7 and joined the Charlton fold.
He hates the ******** Nigel's and he can't stand a Spanner.
Hope your keepers decent, 'cause his foot's like a hammer!

Go go. Go Johann go go....
    .......
    Johann B Gudd.

Good luck getting everyone to sing the whole thing, think the chorus could work though

When I was growing up, Said my old man
Son you'll be a covered end Charlton fan,
Watching Johan run down the wing
And when he scores a goal I want you to sing
    Go go
    Go Johan go go go
    Go Johan go go go

We need to wait for another team to sing it about one of their players, then we'll copy it.

ain't it funny. I'd been looking for a very long time and decided to go to the southbank, somewhere that I hadn't been for years and found it on a second hand book store. loved reading it as a kid.
