Saw he was ill a few days ago. Sad to hear this. Ska legend. I've still got a copy of his "That man is forward" album I bought in 81. Played alongside many greats and held his own...........

He was a regular with Jools' big band, used to sing "Enjoy yourself" as well which was always a crowd favourite. It's a bit like "Duck" Dunn who died a couple of years back, he was on so many records you knew that you lost count.0 -
