Blackburn Away Roll Call.

Who's planning on making the long trip to Ewood Park?
Someone on Facebook saying that we have only sold 100 tickets so far.
Me & My Dad are going - Going to purchase the tickets this week.
Anyone know a decent pub for drinking and watching football there?

Comments

  • we are going as it is local for us, as for pubs the Fernhurst looks OK although I haven't been in it but is near the ground
  • I'm in...although not too long a trip for me.
  • One of the best away days. So many pubs. Hard to go wrong

Nah. Give it a miss. Hope you that are going have a great day
  • Where you planning on going before the game Swords Alive?
  • Finances prohibit me this year Steve. But there is a green near the ground with a couple of really good pubs on the edge of it, and not far from the fernhurst. A few on the walk downhill from the town centre/ station too
  • Thanks.
Will probably start at The Fenhurst and go from there.
  • Yep doing this one, went last year which was the start of the end for Peeters so hoping to see much better this year.
  • The Ewood WMC directly opposite the away end is great. Two bottles of Fosters Gold for £2.50 was very welcome last season, it tempered the poor performance!

  • My transport adviser informs me we are going, which is great, but he drives so dam quickly I'm a nervous wreck.

Driving across on the Wednesday, back Sunday after the game .. visit some friends and 'associates' near Lancaster, have a day or two in the Bowland Forest and looking forward very much to the match .. COME ON YOU ADDICKS !!!
  • Yeah and I think a few other Sheffield mob will be coming. Need to make up to daughter for disappointment at Wolves. The friendly GWR home pub did nothing for her either. 'Kids'

Bleakburn and drinks? hmm, well major road works and lack of Premier League Status have done for a lot of the watering holes around the ground. Being a post industrial wasteland for most of the others. Fielden Arms in Feniscowles is ok and on direct route to Ewood. Pleasington for the Railway and the Butlers if you're early and fancy being away from town. Plenty of pubs in Darwen and then a drive or cab into Bleakburn. Or Black Bull microbrewery up on the tops but not long drive down to Ewood past Golden Cup.

I imagine the figures will rocket for Cardiff should we beat palice.
