Just had a long chat with KP going over Saturday, tomorrow, etc etc. Said he'd spent a lot of time before and after the Hull game with Steve Bruce who was, of course, his first centre half and a great header of the ball. Comparisons made with Bauer.

Still very much involved and had a lot of insight into the players, Guy, etc so should be a great evening.

Plus still our record appearance holder for an outfield player

    Younger supporters may not know a lot about Keith Peacock, but in my view he is easily one of the greatest ever Charltonians. The word legend is bandied about all too freely, but Keith is a complete and utter legend of the highest degree.

    I am going to ask a daft question? Is this place where Kent play their cricket games in Beckenham? If not how far is it from there?

    Ignore that last comment. I have seen on the map. Where I drove to Kent Cricket Ground last time I just stay on that main road but don't turn right but keep going to a mini roundabout and turn left into Foxgrove Road.

    Quite jealous of anyone there tonight. I'm not old enough to remember him play but the man is a true legend and one of the nicest men I've ever met.
