Pickwick was closed due to police say so, Rose of Denmark was also closed I can only assume for the same reason, but the Antigalligan was open. Why is it always us.

    Police say so, or they don't have a licence to open before 12 on a Sunday ?

    There was a note on the door of the pickwick saying police say so. Nothing on the rose though.

    The Bugle was closed too. I was told it was a police instruction but don't believe it. More likely a licensing question.
    Anyhow, we wandered on to the White Swan which was open. It had some nice real ales to choose from and free sandwiches on the bar..........happy days.

    Anchor and Hope open, but only serving tea/coffee until 12.00
