    Why not start early? 'Long Term' are they key words for me. Definitely not this season. Certainly not the next. It won't be the season after that. Probably not the following one. In fact... it's going to be a very long term ambition.

    I sincerely hope I'm eating humble pie in an hour's time, but strongly suspect I'm more likely to be eating the little pot of trifle I've just spotted in our fridge.
