For those going by train i suggest using Paddington as this will avoid crowds attending rugby at Twickenham.Approx 6 trains an hour most taking around 30 mins.
Day return £18.10
With railcard £11.953 -
Yep. 12 of us going. Leaving Paddington at around 11am.1

I'm going with my son. Fairly local for me.
Last time there, I saw Igor head one in for a 1-0 win. I'd give a lot for the same scorer and same result this week.
Also saw @Airman Brown (although I didn't realise it was him at the time) take a tumble over a row of seats at the end of the match. Take a bit more water with it this time eh Airman

I remember the away end in good voice last season, continually singing the Bob Peeters song, then in good spirits on the buses back to the station. That seems a long time ago now...Davo55 said:I'm going with my son. Fairly local for me.

Yes. You'll also remember the rousing chants of "full kit wanker" at the unfortunate Reading supporter in the adjacent stand.killerandflash said:

Black cab or Uber ?5 -
Leave it, decided on bus from Reading station0
-
Clem, presumably the family prices are not in the away fans, so not even going to contemplate that when walking up to buy tickets0

You may be surprised there.sunbury-addick said:Clem, presumably the family prices are not in the away fans, so not even going to contemplate that when walking up to buy tickets
A friend of mine bought family tickets for Cardiff last season. He ended up in the away end.0 -
Make sure you are at the bus stop for not much later than 13.30 as the bus can take a while.sunbury-addick said:Leave it, decided on bus from Reading station

Good info Elfsborg, thank you1

Got on the bus at just after 2pm last year and was in the ground by 2.30. Bit of traffic on the dual carriageway but nothing major.ElfsborgAddick said:

Taking great advice from @Fanny Fanackapan - if a year later - I have booked tickets for me and the kids. FIRST AWAY MATCH FOR 25 YEARS! Wife away in Newcastle with best friend. What could possibly go wrong - on either count?4

I'll be there with eldest son. Took about a week to get the Bob Peters song out of my head last year. Looking forward to a pint of the black stuff thanks to the ground share with London Irish.1
