Reza & Make up top?

If they're fit enough I'don't like to see it. They are both confident and raring to go.

Didn't GL say after the game that Mak wasn't fully fit?

He was probably our best player but that's hardly saying much.
  • Try 4-3-3... Reza and Watt flanking Makienok?

Gudmundsson ... Jackson ... Cousins in the middle...

Means no cover for Fox who's been a liability last couple of games, frankly I'd rather play something like 3-5-2 and win the ball in the middle which we seem completely incapable of doing at the moment. Would be pretty grim but we need to grind out at least a point.

We know we're gonna concede, so why don't we play the "We'll score one more than you" tactic?

    Exactly.

The excuse that Luzon's been using for last nights match is that we had no natural wide players. With that in mind you'd have thought he would have considered changing formation but oh no.

We've been unfortunate with Reza thanks to the dirty fucker Mills's terrible foul on him at Forest .. during the brief time Reza was on there he looked good.
As mentioned above, Reza playing wide(ish), Watt just behind BigMak with Jonny B Good in midfield is the way to go

Bulot is the biggest mistake we have made since Kermorgant

As we have no width play Watt in a more withdrawn role (no change there) with Mak and Reza up front.

Ba can cut the half time oranges in quaters and Luzon can work at city airport as a air signaller

Kashi out for a while longer, seeing specialist to sort out problem, SM not ready to start Saturday
  • Keep it tight in defence, five in midfield which includes two defensive midfielders and one up top. Not pretty but needs must atm!

probably because we seem unable to score.

They worked well but it's still hard to shake off the thought that Reza really hasn't done much for us besides that game.

If and when normal service resumes in the players' confidence and performance levels then Watt and Makienok are by far and away our best pairing.

I'm not sure if Igor Vetokele will play for us again personally.

With Watt and Mak up top, we lack a bit of pace. Reza's pace gives us a different threat.

Reza's got a proper football brain. That's what I like about him.
  • Debatable Andy, debatable
  • I'm one of Watt's biggest fans but you can't start him over Gooch and Makienok against Birmingham. Both scored and brought different things to the team. It would have been very interesting to see how we'd have got on if Gooch hadn't played against Sheffield Wednesday. Haven't seen one of our strikers stretch a defence like that for a long time.

Wouldnt change the Squad at all when we face Birmingham...

Demarai Gray is going to be dangerous with his pace so stick Diarra or even Holmes-Dennis on him whenever he tries to counter-attack,

Stephen Gleeson and David Davis will try to control the Midfield so get Jackson and Ba in their faces
Clayton Donaldson is someone I see Bauer and Sarr having no problems dealing with

Michael Morrison... He'll love the battle with Makienok but has he the ability to stop the skill of our three attackers from combining
  • I'm not sure Reza wears any specialist clothes to apply his make-up though
