Pards loan signings have been ok to poor. Mills was good but screwed up with his attitude as he spent time with us, Sodje has probably been most impressive, but the rest have not really added top the squad. Compare this to Curbs who was much more sparing with his loanees but most with a few exceptions (Small?) made an impression - Healey, Jorge Costa.

I am all for loan signings but think the league should require no more than twoin a match day squad

I think there were a lot more dodgy loans from Curbs and Curbs/Gritt admittedly when we had no money to spend. Denis Bailey, Mike Small, Tel el whatwas his name (not El kakouri) from Southampton and some others.

Yes I have to agree the loan signings havent improved us much as yet (sodje excepted) but at least they can save expensive mistakes in transfers. it gives the club the opportunity to see how they fit in before buying (if they are for sale) .It also gives the player the chance to re start their career, and decide if they would like to stay. I dare say if some of the players we ve bought had arrived on loan deals, we may not have signed them permanently.

But Curbs never signed one and then said I wont play him as we need experienced players in the team and not 18 year old. That makes no sence why sign him?

Don't rememeber Bailey, but Tala oh god yes and then there was Reuben Agbola - I obviously have selective memory. But do agree with C-I-P
