  • Maybe we could have Leaburn's picture in the old "100% Support" part of the forum.

Before the jokes start, no, not a photo of Carl. :-)

If admins agree, then if they let me know the dimensions I'll chop it up to the right size

    good idea

Of course, but those with the ideas must also be prepared to lead it, and i dont mean that as a dig. I suggest the natural next step is for those strongly supporting it to bring it to the agm next week, if not the stall tomorrow

I will be at the AGM.

I'll be wearing every colour I can apart from black and white to show my support for Super RD's Colourful Army, and urge other fans who actually feel the way the club is ran isn't something to be that worried about to do the same.

25 next week mate, no need for the condescending and prickish comment is there? Perhaps I have a different perspective on life compared to you, and things such as being a couple of players short of a promotion contending squad doesn't have me dashing to the shops to buy a stripey scarf. Not that it makes much difference, Man United protested for years with their yellow and green scarves, Portsmouth did similar with pink and brown, but let's be honest with ourselves is the situation as dire as people are making out?

The problem is Sam, not only are we on page 3 of the BBC text.
But we have that black line above in black and white and being in the drop
zone make it feels like the grim reaper is paying a visit.

I still feel we can finish in the top half of the table (send for doctor Eva)

I’m all for fan activism and ultimately, whilst we remain outside the Premier League, if we are united we are by far the clubs largest financial stakeholders which probably gives us more clout than we realise.

My big worry is that all four aims of this movement, an understanding of the business plan (even a clue!), the desire for a two way dialogue, responsiveness, working together to improve attendances have been issues from this regimes start. They were issues in February when the public meeting in Woolwich was held and it felt like there was a real groundswell of “enough is enough – we want some answers” but then the team went on a winning run and all was forgiven. When we were beating QPR and Hull at the start of the season nobody saw the need for a fans protest movement, and if we beat Brentford on Saturday and go on a decent run then will we still want the four goals ? Personally I would, but the real key to this is to divorce the performances on the pitch to answers about the governance off the pitch – the alternative is that this will lose momentum and in late 2016 we’ll be having another Woolwich/Black and White moment.

This man makes an excellent point and something I was thinking. Issues on and off the pitch have to be kept separate.

I think today is more "if something happens, it happens".

I will be working hard over the next week with multiple groups of people to get "something" worked out that we can all agree on, advertise and hopefully implement.

Lots of Info in the programme today apparently, detailing Roland's expenditure since he arrived.
  • Coincidence?

Reactive to try and show he is putting his hand in his pocket, not too much being seen on the pitch though unfortunately.

My issue with him isn't that he doesn't put his hand in his pocket its more that he spends millions on players like Sarr and refuses to buy players from the English leagues. If we're over budget its because we overspent on rubbish.

The way they trot this stuff out every time the natives get restless is beyond parody.

It's like there saying "can't you see what we've done, how we saved you, spent money on you. Improved you and made you better. What is wrong with you imbeciles!"

Well Katrien, when I'm queing up on a cold Tuesday night to get a pasty that tastes like its been down the back of a sofa for a week from your 'improved' match day dining experience and then go to take my seat to watch a game starring your 'much improved squad' lead by your fine European renowned coaching team, put in a performance that I could probably see over the park on a Sunday morning, I think to myself,'somebody saw them coming' or ' I am being royally mugged off!'
If this is progress, Id bloody hate to see failure.

Of course it's not coincidence. It's exactly what you would expect this current regime to do but all the financial releases in the world won't detract from the fact that our squad isn't good enough once we have injuries and that we are already in the relegation zone.
