Hit again. How long ago was je suis Charlie? RIP to all those involved. Just goes to show how on edge national security forces must be, knowing something will slip through the net0

BBC News stating that they aren't sure who is responsible.
I have a funny feeling I know which religion has motivated it though.10 -

A country that is very similar to us in terms of demographic and philosophical outlook, these kind of attacks always hit close to home, because you know that but for a twist of fate these attacks could be happening on London's streets.... We live in very sad times in terms of the hatred that some people have for countries that have arguably given them a taste of freedom that they can not handle, probably a group of young men rebelling against a system that has given them everything that they have.
We sometimes are victims of our own tolerance.9 - Sponsored links:

So sad that we have to live on this earth with people who do things like this.3

however, we must remember that the extremists you're getting at do NOT, in anyway, represent the peaceful religion that is Islamcafcnick1992 said:BBC News stating that they aren't sure who is responsible.

We're also very, very quick to jump to conclusions.
RIP the eighteen people who have lost their lives.3 -

I'm more appalled at the knee-jerk assumption that there is anything to do with "religion" behind this. Terrorism and religion are not synonymous.Six-a-bag-of-nuts said:

Terrible news - looks awful. Very crass to use it for ideological point scoring so quickly though.5

I wouldn't call it a peaceful religion. We should be thankful that the vast majority of Muslims don't interpret the Qur'an literally.JakeCAFC_94 said:

Precisely, a savage and wicked book, the same way the Old Testament is, were it not for the New Testament, we would probably be just as bad.cafcnick1992 said:

I have a funny feeling I know which religion has motivated it though.
(Deuteronomy 20:10-14)
As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you.
Do you think we should judge Christian people in the same way?0 -
You know, I'm going to keep the sarcasm and jokes off my posts until there's a bit more knowledge, certainty and understanding of this terrible set of events. It's up to you if you east to do the same.Huskaris said:
