Is there anyone on here, or know anyone who deals with mortgage side of things at all?
Am looking to use one in the near future for purchasing a house. I'd rather give fees to a fellow fan or a friend of a fan, instead of a random...

Who are you getting your Mortgage through as Solicitors will be on a preferred list meaning that when I first applied for a Mortgage it was through the Halifax so I couldn't use the same one that my parents have used for years, that got rejected and eventually got a Mortgage accepted through NatWest, this meant that I could use my particular Solicitor if that makes sense?
If you can use him then I cant recommend Brian Tan @ HE Thomas & Co (Based just down the road from Woolwich Arsenal Station) highly enough... Cost me about £1600 to sort out my conveyancing yet we had the keys within a month of sending him the details of the property
He moves really quickly and was always available if I needed to email / phone with a query1 -
Just doing a transfer of equity with my lender (ex-wife's name being removed from mortgage) and my lender has an approved solicitor (1 only) and if i choose to use my own i pay for mine as well as theirs. Hence i'm using their approved one. Anyone see any issue with this?0

Huey Lewis from Eltham.Used him for buying and selling three properties and got him from advice from here about three years ago,really good and good price too plus a Charlton fan.0
