Fox -7.5 I thought he kept Gray pretty quiet. In this formation both full backs defend narrow and he did well in nullifying one of the championships rising stars. Some disappointing distribution.

Henderson - 7 Important saves and influence.
Holmes-Dennis - 8 Lovely cross for the goal and a couple of great bits of skill.
Bauer - 7.5 Really came into it in the second half. Looked very strong.
Sarr - 6.5 Some good interceptions and used the ball nicely. Just want to see a little bit more determination when they are about to shoot.
Fox - 6.5 Passing was a bit wonky but in the end he was defending well.
Diarra - 7.5 We probably wouldn't have won without him in midfield. Stayed on his feet and won his battles. Just hope his legs can hold out.
Cousins - 6 Looked out of sorts 1st half and was a bit slow to close down. Got into as the game went on and was important in the midfield battle.
Jackson - 7 Fine headed goal. Used the ball simply and seemed to get stronger as the game wore on.
Berg Gudmundsson - 6.5 Some good moments in the latter stages.
Lookman - 8 Lots of energy and didn't hide. Good control and awareness. A performance of real maturity.
Makienok - 6.5 Did a decent job in keeping their back-line occupied. A couple of intelligent balls. Just need to see him attack the box a bit more. One mega header away from their corner.
Vaz Te - 6.5 Looked a bit rusty but you could see he can play. Some nice bits of skill out wide late on and seemed to know what was needed to close the game out.0 -

Holmes-Dennis - 9 Not a fan of 'inverted' full backs but the one time he used his right foot it created a goal .Good goal line clearance near the end

Fox - 8 Think some posters have been unfair . In the main he kept Gray quiet.
Diarra - 8 Has really improved us playing in midfield

Henderson - 7 - Ball didn't seem to stick, but pretty solid as per usual.
Holmes-Dennis - 8 - Very impressive, clearly not very confident using his weaker foot but was a good outlet for us throughout the game and defended well.
Bauer - 7.5 - As solid as ever, great marauding run forwards at one point.
Sarr - 7 - Growing in confidence the more games he plays.
Fox - 7 - Thought Morgan had a good game against one of the best talents in the division. Didn't get to see him attack much, but defended admirably.
Diarra - 7 - Broke up play well.
Cousins - 6 - Lots of energy, but one of his quieter games.
Jackson - 7.5 - Classic goal from the skipper. Charlton legend.
Berg Gudmundsson - 7 - Didn't quiet have the service this game, but always looks dangerous when he gets the ball.
Lookman - 7.5 - Really impressed by him. Fed of SM well, and was a constant nuisance for their defence.
Makienok - 7 - Thought it was one of his quieter games. Looks like he is running in treacle sometimes. Did absolutly skin one of their players though and always an outlet.
Vaz Te - 6.5 - Looked a bit sloppy, clearly talent their. Just needs to get some match sharpness.0 -

Henderson - 8 Two outstanding saves. Did nearly drop the ball in front of a Brum striker though!
Holmes-Dennis - 9 MOTM - Excellent performance. Great crosses with two strong feet. Destroyed two Birmingham defenders in one go (which has been all over the highlights).
Bauer - 8 - Played very well, especially later on when Birmingham finally started stringing two passes together.
Sarr - 7 - Solid alongside Bauer
Fox - 7 - I thought Birmingham kept targeting Fox but held up well. Less impressive than THD going forward.
Diarra - 8 - Part of a midfield that bossed the centre of ther park I thought.
Cousins - 6.5 - Lots of heel snapping. Probably less effective than Diarra though.
Jackson - 7.5 - Great header. Wanted to get to that ball more than everyone else. Classic celebration.
Berg Gudmundsson - 7 - Good outlet for everytime we cleared the ball. No hoofing it, just playing intelligent balls and initiating counter attacks.
Lookman - 8 - Always looked threatening. Bundles of energy.
Makienok - 7 - Created a very good chance first half by totally outmuscling Birmingham's defender. Probably one of his quieter games though.
Vaz Te - 6.5 Missed an easy chance to score but I think it may have been offside anyway. Reserve Judgement - didn't get long enough on the ball.

Holmes-Dennis - 8.5 Class piece of skill near the corner flag in 1st half and excellent cross for the goal. Strong at the back and got forward at pace. MOTM
Bauer - 7 - Strong in the air and passed the ball out of the back well.
Sarr - 7 - A couple of sliced clearances but otherwise solid and distributed well.
Fox - 6 - Got skinned by Gray a few times and ineffective going forward. Made some good blocks and saw him organising the defence at set pieces a couple of times.
Diarra - 8 - An athletic yet composed performance, received the ball from the CBs and used it well. Started off a lot of attacks
Cousins - 6.5 - Usual high work rate and made one really good defensive header following a corner
Jackson - 7.5 - Classic Jacko goal a la the one at Fulham, timed his run to perfection so was not tracked. Used the ball well.
Berg Gudmundsson - 6.5 - Fairly quiet 1st half but looked good on the ball, became more influential later in the game when on the break.
Lookman - 8 - Enthusiastic performance full of running. Roasted their CBs a few times and could have had a couple. Promising full debut
Makienok - 6.5 - Strong in the air and defended set pieces well. Missed a difficult headed chance later on. Terrible shooting in the warmup!!
Vaz Te - 6.5 - Looked like he had time on the ball and will be a good addition once up to speed.0
