    Not really a rallying cry though, is it. 'Stick with us', followed by a description of the goals, though to be fair to him he's a good player in a shit team, so I don't really know what he can say.
    How did he come to be interviewed? Do the club nominate someone?

    The club after (almost) all games makes a player available to the local press to be interviewed.

    Both
    Must be increasingly hard for them to find someone. Do they ever send out unused subs?

    Yeah I've always wondered if that was the reason... Just thought it may have changed since becoming Vice-Captain

    It must be a horrible job at the moment, proper 'short straw' stuff!

    I really felt sorry for Johnnie Jackson in his interview after the Bristol City game. Trying to convince us/himself it could be a turning point, when we all knew it was just a desperately lucky escape.

    I am not really that interested in what the players say to the press. I want them to do the talking on the pitch.

    Players can't say what they really think - they're employees of the club and have to pretend all is okay.

    Hendo needs to get on message. We are not fans, we are customers. The players need to keep up!

    I hope the SLP are going to amend their headline accordingly.

    Solly has been my favourite player over the last 3-4 years. His passion, commitment and attitude epitomises how I think the game should be played and what being a Charlton player is all about. He reminds me of watching the likes of Steve Brown and John Robinson play when I was a kid.

    As a person though he's a real pain in the arse. My sons favourite player and on the occasions we've stayed behind after the game to get a photo/autograph he is the only player who ends up exiting via the main reception so he can sneak into his car and avoid the fans who wait outside the players entrance.

    I guess as Louis says, he's one of the few modern day footballers who isn't keen on all the attention that comes with being pro.

    Just wish Hendo would vary his distribution. Indicate left or centre then just hoof it to Solly on his own on the right.
    So bloody predictable but getting better.
